It's been now almost a year since I have installed this device in my 2009 Honda Odyssey. I went from burning over a quart of oil in a short amount of time to burning oil at a more regular rate, like a quart or so between changes. I also don't have the engine light coming on and the engine running rough with a fouled spark plug every couple of months.
When I took the car to the dealership, they said they only way they could fix the issue with the fouled plug and excessive oil use was to replace the engine. Cost: $5,000.00. For just over $100 and 15 minutes of my time, I consider this issue fixed with the vcmtuner. Your product has just been awesome!!
Last December I installed your VCM tuner on my 2011 Honda Odyssey. Prior to that I was experiencing high oil consumption and misfire codes. I had to change my oil and #2 spark plug every 3 months (max) to keep it running properly. Since installing the VCMTUNER II (7 months and 6k miles) I have had NO oil consumption and no misfires. I am happy I bought your product and would recommend it to anyone.
Installed and works wonderfully so far. I didn’t suspect any issues. It’s a new to me 08 Odyssey with only 120k and want to make sure I get another 120k on it problem free. As a former Honda Dealer Assistant Service Manager I wanted to make sure these repetitive issues didn’t occur on my motor. Less than two weeks from purchase of the Odyssey to install of the VCMTUNER. I just wanted to give some feedback on my recent order. This product works exactly as described and I couldn't be happier with it. My wife and I bought our 2010 Honda Odyssey brand new in 2010. It's been progressively using more and more oil between oil changes...we actually had to add about a quart of oil every 1000 miles!
We've now driven about 3000 miles after installing the VCMTuner II and haven't had to add any oil yet - wow! We were also experiencing vibration while driving and figured we'd have to replace the engine mounts at some point. We've been living with that problem for at least a couple years. Well, that problem has also been solved. While I am extremely disappointed in Honda, I can't say enough good things about your product to "fix" their issue.

I have a 2012 Honda Odyssey, which I bought used with 125k miles. The VCM mode was rough and had the engine and transmission jerking when engaging and disengaging. When using the cruise control on the highway, the transmission would sometimes not lock up the torque converter until the vehicle was going up a slight incline. I researched this and found out VCM had caused a lot of engine problems on these cars, and there had been a lawsuit against Honda to fix them.
I found several products designed to disable the VCM mode, but VCMTuner had been around for a long time and seemed to have good reviews, so I bought the latest version of their product, VCM Tuner II. The installation was really easy, and took only about 10 minutes, and it plugged right into the engine wiring harness. In the Odyssey there is not a lot of room between the battery box and the air cleaner, but it can be made to fit. The VCMTuner II worked the first time, with no "Check Engine" light. The dreaded "ECO" light never came on again, the water temperature shows normal temperature, and there was no more rough driveline jerking. As a bonus, the transmission torque converter lockup function works perfectly now. I can't understand that, but I'm happy it has been fixed. After 4000 miles, the VCM Tuner II has worked flawlessly, no problems at all, and the engine doesn't burn any oil.
Fuel economy has suffered a little, I get 1-2 mpg less, but it's a good trade off. I was astounded to learn replacing the active engine mounts can cost $1500. I'm sure replacing broken piston rings would not be cheap. I'm glad I found VCMTuner and can recommend buying the VCM Tuner II.

Ok, everything that can be said about the improvements the VCMTUNER II can do have been said. All I can say is this. I did NOT like the way the van ran. After the VCMTUNER II was installed I DO like the way it runs. The testimony's on the website are true. Regards,
Got the vcmtuner yesterday in the mail, it shipped Wednesday, and I got an email that morning with the tracking number. I installed it this morning after the van sat all night, install was quick and easy and some nice detailed instructions were included with the unit.
I drove the van about 25-30 miles today with the tuner at the default position. No ECO light and no check engine lights came on. The van drives so much smoother without VCM, it really is night and day. For reference the high was about 47* today. I hadn't paid attention before but my temp gauge now sits about 1/3 of the way up. That seems slightly lower than what I've seen but no check engine light so far. If/when I start to get the ECO light I will pop the hood and turn the dial up. I really like the easy adjustability of the unit.
Also wanted to add that I got another email from the seller saying that if I had any problems or questions to feel free to contact him. A great experience overall. I will report back again down the road but so far I can definitely recommend the vcmtuner and the seller is a stand up guy.
I just put the part on my van, it runs so much better and smoother. I'm finally in control and there's no more shaking and jerking between shifts. Easy and quick install. Instructions were easy to follow. No check engine light.

The VCMTuner is working great! I really like that it has a variable resistor, to avoid changing out the part it during winter/summer. Prompt shipment and great product. Thanks!
The ability to dial in the resistance makes this the only harness to consider.
One welcome and unforeseen benefit is a slight but noticeable reduction in the aggressiveness of the grade logic transmission. It never made sense to me that you have to give the car gas to coast up to a red light or stop sign. The transmission now behaves in a similar manner as that of my 2012 4cyl- still pulls back a bit but does allow some coasting. That to me is a really big plus.
Received my tuner today. Plugged it in and went for a brief drive after it warmed up. No ECO light, ECO vibration, etc. Currently at 142k miles and the rear motor mount is bad. Tired of the oil consumption and vibration from VCM. Very happy with the product so far.
Thank you for the product. This will save me from selling the car. I bought it six weeks ago and the vibration is the ruining experience. Already had honda replace the TC under warranty without fixing the issue and further digging brought me here. The symptoms described are exactly what I'm experiencing. Thank you again for your help.
Wow! I can’t believe it worked! I installed it on a 2015 Honda Odyssey and it runs as good as the day I drove it off the lot. I recently drove 800 miles to Florida over the holidays and so I was expecting a drop in gas mileage, but to my surprise my gas mileage was the same as when the eco mode use to kick in. I highly recommend this product.

Hi, I purchased one of your units and applied it to my 2005 Honda Odyssey. We had a short Spring Break road trip and I’m really happy, the van is so much more pleasant to drive – no more shudder as the ECO mode cuts in and out.
